Petition – Alternative Futures Group
Colleagues
Alternative Futures Group (AFG) is a major North West provider of care services for adults with learning disabilities and employs around 700 UNISON members.
AFG is planning to remove top-up payments for staff working sleep-in shifts from January 2019. This will amount to a loss of up to £90 per week for AFG’s dedicated care workers and take those workers to below National Minimum Wage rates for sleep-ins.
UNISON NW is currently in dispute with the employer and will shortly launch a consultative ballot for industrial action.
We have also launched a petition (click on link below) and ask that you please sign and circulate as widely as possible.
