Pay negotiations come to a conclusion

Over the past 2 weeks our members have been voting on the tabled pay offer, UNISON probation members voted overwhelmingly in favour of the NNC Pay Offer for 2013/14 and agreement was reached at today’s National Negotiating Council on the salary settlement.

 

The pay award provides for :

  • One increment for all staff eligible for pay progression as at 31 March 2013
  • 1% pay rise on all pay points from 1 April 2013
  • 1% increase in London Weighting from 1 April 2013
  • 1% increase in the following allowances:

o   Standby/sleeping-in from 1 July 2013

o   Subsistence from 1 July 2013

o   Out of pocket expenses from 1 July 2013

o   Relocation expenses from 1 April 2013

It is hoped members will receive the payment in their February salary payments.
