End Racism at Work event – Thursday, 29 September 2022

Email sent on behalf of Ameen Hadi – Chair North West Black Members Committee

NW UNISON is committed to ending racism in the workplace.  With this in mind, our NW Black Members’ Committee produced a toolkit for members earlier this year:

To further build on this work, we intend to relaunch an update version of this tool kit on Thursday, 29 September, that can be used by union branches, public sector organisation’s and employers to look at how we can work together to truly end racism in the workplace.

The event aims to bring those parties together to face this important challenge.

We have fantastic speakers and an interactive workshop with refreshments and snacks throughout the morning.

Please register to join us:

The event is open to all activists within your branch, and members are also welcome to attend. Please share and encourage participation in the event within your branch.

If you would like to contribute to this event or have examples of good practice you wish to share, please get in touch.

In solidarity
