Preparing for the fight ahead

UNISON North West is organising a major seminar of workshops and plenaries, taking place at The Mechanics Institute in Manchester on 7th March, to arm our activists with the skills we need to build our union and win in the workplace in 2015.

This event will bring together experts and experienced trade unionists at the top of their field from across our movement and from across the globe, to share their experience and deliver cutting edge, practical workshops on how unions can improve the lives of working people in the 21st century – from increasing our bargaining strength in our core areas, to meeting the challenge private sector outsourcing and harnessing the power of social media.

Registration is now open online, free of charge, until 13th February. Registration for this free event is open to every UNISON activist in our region (ie. you don’t need to register through, or be nominated by your branch). We expect this event to be very popular and only have 160 places, so please don’t delay and register online now.
