Stop TTIP Campaign meeting
The meeting will take place on Tuesday 9th December 6pm at UNISON North West Regional Centre, Arena Point, 1 Hunts Bank, Manchester M3 1UN
TTIP (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership) is a proposed trade deal largely being conducted in secret between the EU and US Government. UNISON believes TTIP is a profound threat to public services which will not only lead to further liberalisation but which will make it harder for government to regulate private companies providing public services and could effectively prevent a future government bringing those services back in-house.
